Terms and conditions

On this page you will find our terms and conditions for our social dance events in Copenhagen. If you are missing an answer, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

Personal data policy

We receive your name, Email and phone number from our ticket provider (billetfix by ticketbutler). We don’t store your data other places than on the ticket providers platform and we therefore follow their GDPR process.

Your data will only be used by us to contact you if there should be changes to the event you have signed up for. Or if we for necessary reasons need to contact you in regards to the event you have signed up for.

Ticketbutler stores your contact information for 5 years after the end of the event (following Danish law). Should you want the info deleted before that time you can reach out to them directly.

You are always welcome to send us and email if there is any data that you would want us to remove about you, or if you have any questions.

We notify you that by sending us an email it can be stored for up to 5 years.

Cookies

On this website we use functional and statistical cookies. Cookies are small text files that collect data to improve the functional experience on our website. We also use statistical cookies to observe trends in the amount of visitors, how long they spend on our website and other statistical information. You can delete cookies from your computer yourself. Aswell as minimize the amount of cookies by accepting/rejecting our cookie pop-up.

Right of cancellation / withdrawal

After making a purchase on the ticket platform the registration is binding. It can therefore not be refunded or switched to another day. 

You are welcome to give the ticket to someone else. This will be at your own risk and we can not be held responsible.

Should we need to cancel the event you will get a full refund (ticket- and card fees are NOT refunded) unless it is due to force majeure.

Changes

We keep the right to change dates, content and teacher at our events in case we find it necessary due to sickness or other unforeseen situations.

Private lessons

Private lessons are agreed upon with the individual teacher, in writing. Cancellation or rebooking can be done until 24 hours before the agreed time. By no-show are passing the cancellation deadline a cancellation fee of 300 dkk needs to be paid (possible by invoice).

Gift certificates

A gift certificate is useable for 1 year (unless something else has been agreed on, in writing). You have 14 days rights to withdraw/cancel/return after this time the gift certificate can no longer be exchanged for cash.

The gift certificate can be used by the person whose name is on it. Please make sure it is correct when you receive it. If you lose the gift certificate you have no right for refund or compensation – this also goes if it gets broken, stolen or lost.

Responsibility / liability 

Participation in our events, workshops and classes is at your own risk. Further more, the participant is responsible for being in the right health state to participate. Disclaimer – we are not responsible for any personal injury that might happen at our events.

Reservations for errors

We are only humans and thus take reservations for printing errors in text or pictures. Necessary delays or force majeure that result in cancellations or changes.

Pictures and videos

When participating in our events, you consent to us using pictures and video material that you might appear in. For promotional purposes on our website and social media as well as in print. We are not interested in crossing any ones boundaries. Hence, you are welcome to send an email if you want anything removed that you appear in.
